Microgaming Casino After the black Friday in the poker business when the FBI closed down the sites of 3 pokerrooms, casino software provider Microgaming is planning to close their casino sites for the US players.

Since the introduction of the UIGEA in 2006 which stopped casinos offering online casino games, Microgaming continued with accepting US players. Only in some states where clearly stated that online gambling is not allowed they didn't allow players to use their service.

Now many US casinos running on Microgaming software stopped their activity in the US to prevent problems with the FBI for illegal gambling activities.

A member of a Microgaming Casino told a few players that they will close down the US casino site and he didn't know what will happen with the money left in the player's account. But now these casinos stated that the balance of a US player will be send back to the player.

Since Microgaming maked this decision many casinos running on this software should choose another software provider or not accept US players anymore. Unfortunately there will be a few casinos who will have to close their doors completely.
